I'm trying to translate a song (energy - by high and mighty color).

And there's this part:

力のないもの壊さないで
儚きもの　愛しき者　想い返して

I sort of understand .. but there's a little problem. I don't understand what "hakanaki mono" is doing here.

For instance, if this was by itself: 愛しき者　想い返して
it would make sense

But if it was this: 儚きもの　想い返して
then I don't understand what it means.

To clarify, I know the dictionary meaning of "hakanai", but I don't understand how it relates to the meaning in this context ..
