According to my sense, for example, if you want to say " Can I eat this?"
1,これ食べていいの? This sounds like a woman, but man can use it usually.
2,これ食べていいか? This sounds like a man. Women can use it, but it sounds tomboyish.
3,これ食べていいのか? This sounds like a man. Tomboy can use it too.
But it depends on how to say, namely intonation is important especially number1 mentioned above.

Hi,momojinRU (XD), can you give a comparison on the sentences using "のか・の”? because i don't think I can put a 呢 after most of the questions. like 食呢? 喜歡呢?, maybe in Cantonese has another meaning of it but in mandarin I think it is so awkward. how about some examples of のか / なの too?
