1.Once you have download AOL software at aol.com , you can chat in AOL chat rooms. 2.Install the AOL software. When you get to the screen that prompts you to sign in, choose "existing member". Now press "sign on." 3.Sign on by entering your AOL screen name and password. Press "next" to get to the welcome screen. 4.Look at the top of the welcome screen. You will see many tabs such as "file", "edit", "mail" and "community." Click on "community" and look at the drop down choices. 5.Choose "chat rooms listings." The next screen will give the category of chat. Choose your category and then choose the exact name of the chat room you want to join from the list provided. 6.Click "go chat" which is located at the bottom of the screen after you choose your room. Begin chatting with the other users.
