自行車 and 單車 are the common used words for bicycle." 我的朋友骑自行车 " --Here we do not use measure word. If you put a measure word before 自行车, it sounds really weird. 中文句子中，经常省略“量词”，可能是因为量词的存在与否并不影响句子的意思。

在中文中，只要有主，谓，（宾）就可以构成正确的句子，形容词，副词，量词等的作用是让句子表意更准确。In China,a sentence can only have SVO.
