I have a doubt I saw a sentence this way: "I don't wanna date you, just to study". What's the meaning of verb "date" in this sentence ?

If you saw it on italki it means the person is not interested in flirting or having an online relationship, but only interested in learning a new language. That's all!

I have a query. Nós não dizemos 'doubt' neste contexto. I saw a sentence like this.... To date = namorar Eu não quero namorar contigo, só quero estudar. "I was distrust about this sentence." = I was mistrustful of this sentence. Ou melhor... I had my doubts about this sentence.

Date, its like "go out in a date" a romantical date or something like that, something that will become in a sentimental relationship. The girls is saying that she only wants to study with you.

sair com voce …. Go out with you in a romantic way. Don't say I have a doubt. Duvida is not used in English the way you want to use it. We say , I have a question. Doubt is used like this: I doubt if I can go tonight. Also namorar is much stronger and does not mean go out on a date. It means to fall in love with. I can't find your message with your skype.
