''quite an experience'' Can somebody explain what the above phrase stands for..? I don't really get what the meaning is ..

Particularly when someone addresses ' the experience ' which is (of) - exceptional / remarkable (nature) - you may refer as ' quite an experience ' Please note you should not use it in negative sense though.
