Imperatives en francais Whats the difference between: Suis-moi (Would you use this if you are asking 1 person to follow you?) suivons-moi suivez-moi (would you use this one to ask a group of people i.e. more than 1 person to follow you?) I don't understand how to use imperatives. Can someone please explain to me how to use them correctly. I have consulted my grammar book but I'm still having difficulty. Thanks

Bonjour, hello, You can't say "Suivons-moi". This form doesn't exist and is grammatically incorrect. You can say "suis-moi" to somebody you know well (a friend, etc.) Informal form. (= TU me suis.) You can say "suivez-moi" to a group of persons OR to a single person you don't know well. Formal form.(= VOUS me suivez.) I hope I could have helped you. Sincerely.

Suivons-moi n'est pas possible puisque le nous (nous suivons) t'inclus tu ne peux pas te suivre !!! Suis-moi (pour une personne) Suivez-moi (pour une personne vouvoiement, ou pour plusieurs personnes)
