how to differentiate have been done and being done by writing sentence

have been done: happened before in the past and still happens. being done: happening right now. Examples: -Jumping jacks have been done in gym class since the school was built. (Jumping jacks were done in the past and are done in the present.) -Jumping jacks are being done in gym class at school right now. (Jumping jacks are done in school right this minute or in the current day/week/month/year.) "have been done" and "being done" are passive phrases.

usually when I do that using past tense... while that is being done using countinous tense ... maybe... because, I'm studying too...

I agree with the other answer. This applies to other verbs as well. Examples: Is spoken (has been spoken) / speak(s), speaking Has been done / Do(es), doing I have danced in the summer recital since I was 4 / I dance all the time / I am dancing!

I think this problem always confused us. It's a good question. Now it seems I got it, and I hope it will not be my problems anymore. Thanks a lot.
