Using the word Paalam in tagalog?
Do people in the philippines still use the word Paalam to say goodbye or is it an old way of saying it. I usually only hear Sige or Good Bye.

From what I understand, "paalam" is rather formal/antiquated and is often translated as "farewell". Saying "Ingat!" ("Take care!") or simply "Goodbye" is more common.
