Adjectives Before or After ?
Can someone tell me what adjectives go before the noun in French and what ones go after the noun?
Also how do I know whether an adjective goes before or after ?

Terriblement difficile...
Je ne sais pas s'il y a vraiment des règles grammaticales. C'est plutôt l'usage.
J'ai l'impression que les adjectifs épithètes (collés) sont plutôt avant, sauf
- les adjectifs de couleur sont placés après : un chat gris, une maison jaune etc.
Ex : une grande maison; un énorme choc, une grande maison noire;
Un vrai idiot. :
Parfois : on peut mettre les deux : un terrible choc = un choc terrible.

Actually, it's quite simple. Most qualities goes after the noun (unlike English).
Only a handful goes before. Here's a little list (but keep in mind I might have forgotten few):
grand, petit, jeune, vieux, gentil, méchant, mauvais, joli, beau, nouveau.

my two cents:
I would say most go after… and then you have exceptions due to ease of pronunciation, poetic license, more formal writing, etc.
Grand is tricky as when you say un grand homme, you understand a great man, but un homme assez grand, it's about his size…
As for experience horrible, it really depends… both sound fine to me, maybe une horrible expérience is a tiny bit more formal…

Ex: on dit un homme beau ou un bel homme (en parlant de toi lol! )
On ne dira pas un beau homme parceque cela ne sonne pas.
Un joli paysage.
pour les couleurs toujours apès: une voiture rouge.
As tu checher sur français-facile ou google: grammaire place adjectif qualificatif?
