Why Korean language is so popular? As I have observed, Korean language is one of the trending languages among the italki users. Almost more than half of the users want to learn Korean. The ones who are interested are from different parts of the world. Is it only the worldwide admiration for the Korean drama that has caused this or there are other reasons that I am ignorant of?

I think KPOP and Korean dramas is definitely a factor. In other cases, Korean is a relatively easy asian language to learn in comparison to Japanese and Chinese.

it's culture is becoming more an more popular, at least in china, lots of my friends prefer to learn korean language,on the other hand, it's really easy,even me, i can speak some of that after watching some korean teleplay or listening to the music~
