Respite centre和 respite care用汉语怎么说? How should I say 'respite centre' and ’respite care in Chinese? A respite centre is where people with disabilities go to give their carers a break from caring for them. They are cared for there by staff and volunteers trained to care for people with disabilities. Respite centres are not hospitals, they are what we call 'a home away from home'. Normally children are referred for respite care in a respite centre by social services and the state pays for the care, although most respite centres also accept paying customers. Respite care may also be provided at the persons home, allowing the carers to go out shopping etc. Example sentences I am likely to say using 'respite centre' and ’respite care. I have an autistic son. He goes to his respite centre overnight 2 nights a week I get 2 nights respite care a week for my son.

Actually they have many names in Chinese, but sounds very similar to one another. Respite centre 暂托中心、照顾中心 etc..... respite care 看护 ....... well, if it really means the meaning you want depends on sentences.
