The location of time phrases and verbs within a sentence.
他请我礼拜六跟他去看电影。I saw this sentence in a textbook. I do not understand why the 礼拜六 comes after 请我？ I thought that time phrases come before the verb.

他请我礼拜六跟他去看电影。He asked me to go to a movie with him on Saturday.(the movie is on saturday)
他礼拜六请我跟他去看电影。Saturday is the day he asked me to go to a movie with him.

他请我跟他礼拜六去看电影=他请我礼拜六跟他去看电影=他请我跟他去看礼拜六的电影
在口语里是比较灵活的，that is chinese。
但是“他礼拜六请我跟他去看电影”这个表述就很模糊了。让人不知道是哪个礼拜六？这个礼拜六还是上个礼拜六？他请过你看电影。
