Hola. Se llaman verbos pronominales porque se conjugan con pronombres ( me, te, se...) Ej. Ducharse, bañarse, vestirse, peinarse.

Spanish verbs ending in "se" are either reflexive, reciprocal, or intensive. Reflexive verbs are verbs where the subject and object of the verb are the same. Examples: lavarse ["Se lavan." "They wash themselves."] Verse ["Me veo en el espejo." " I see myself in the mirror."] Reciprocal verbs are used when the action is performed on two or more subjects. Examples: escribirse ["Se escriben todas las semanas." "They write each other every week."] verse ["Se ven en el parque." "They see each other in the park."] As you can see from "verse", sometimes an "se" verb can have either a reflexive or reciprocal meaning, depending on the context. Sometimes the "se" verb is a more intensive form of the same verb without "se." Example: comer vs. comerse ["El perro comió mi hamburguesa." "The dog ate my hamburger." "¡El perro se comió mi hamburguesa!" The dog ate up (gobbled up) my hamburger!"]
