I'll throw my two cents in just for the heck of it, but I am pretty sure the Chinese translation for trauma (mental) would be 精神創傷. You could also possibly just say 創傷, but that usually means injury or wound (though it does retain the meaning of trauma as well). I will just wait to see what others say as I am curious now myself.
