黑米粥- hei mi zhou. Hey does anyone know where 黑米粥(Hei mi zhou) originated from and whereabouts in China it's most commonly eaten? Any info on 黑米粥 would be greatly appreciated. All i know is that it's yummy and i like it!! 0(o^-^o)0

I remember it is grown in the north of China, where is cold.

As i know, we can buy it everywhere, but we are not usually eat it. If you like 黑米粥 , you also can try 八宝粥 and 腊八粥

Nobody in China knows it's origin :(,, i think everyone has eaten it because it ain't special food,we Chinese just eat it as snacks

To tell you the truth in the north of China people often eat it. But they never think about It's origins.
