Sentences with the word "flap"
Hey guys,
I heard this word in a tv serie, the sentence was "we are all in flap".
I got one of the meaning of flaps (Birds flapping their wings - The flag flapped in the breeze, etc), but I didn't get in which form flap can be used for describe a state of upset, or becoming nervous, or whatever.
Could you please write down few sentences as examples? :)

I suspect it should be "we are all in a flap." It means to be in a panic or confusion about something.
