There is no real difference between them. "Бы" is the more standard form as far as I know. Also, there are many options of where to put them in a sentence. Я бы лучше объяснил тему, если бы знал. Я лучше бы объяснил тему, если знал бы. Sometimes you could hear people use "бы" excessively (this example is extreme though): Я бы лучше б объяснил б тему, если б знал бы.

Hi! 1. The meaning of these two particles are the same. However, "б" is used more rarely than "бы" in Russian Writing. In speech both "б" and "бы" are used equally. 2. MOSTLY, we use these particles in the same way, as in this sentence: "Он бы это сделал, если бы умел" = "He would do it, if he was be able" --- There are lots of other meanings with slight difference, but I think, it will be enough for beginner :)

No difference here. But in writing better use бы. Б is just like shorter form. Чайку б попили. - Чайку бы попили. Я бы пошел, если бы вы предупредили меня заранее. - Я б пошел, если б вы предупредили меня заранее. Absolutely no difference.

"Если бы знал" = "Если б знал". Одинаково. Но мне кажется, что в письменной речи чаще употребляют "бы", чем "б". Вроде бы нет различия в употреблении.

when verb is in subjunctive mood. Я БЫ в летчики пошел, пусть меня научат. I would love to be a pilot, let they learn me to it. Я бы поел супа. I would eat soup
