Underway or pending ?
I would like to get know if word "underway" is synonym of "pending" ?
Could you give me some sentences with these words >?
I am wondering what are similar words to "underway" too.

"Pending" usually means "awaiting action." "Underway," though, means something has been started.
An example of these two is:
A report has been submitted and is now pending approval. Once it is approved, a notification will be underway to let you know of its status.
