the difference between tasty-yummy-delicious-palatable the difference?

Palatable isn't as tasty, yummy or delicious as the first three. The first three describe what you really enjoy eating. The last one describes food that is OK.

They are all the same. It's very common to hear children use the word "yummy". Also, the last word is not as common. (I actually had to look it up in the dictionary). It's not used in everyday speech.
