How would you say them another way? I'm tying to understand the meaning of " for my liking" in these sentences. This is way too quiet for my liking. ------> This is way too quiet .......... This conversation has come too frank for my liking. -----> This conversation has come too frank ........

"for my liking" is very similar to "and I don't like it" or "and it makes me uncomfortable". It depends on context. It could also be the same as "and it's not my favorite". Again, context is important. So... This is way too quiet for my liking. ==> This is way too quiet and I don't like it. This conversation has become too frank for my liking. ==> This conversation has become too frank and it makes me (feel) uncomfortable. This food is too spicy for my liking. ==> This food is too spicy. I don't like spicy food. There is another common idiom: "for my taste". This food is too spicy for my taste. Literally talking about the taste/flavor of a food. This room is too yellow for my taste. Not literally about taste/flavor. This is talking about your preference in room color/decoration. I hope that helps.
