ㅐ/ae/ in Apple ㅔ /e/ in Edit Many Korean people don't distinguish two although the actual sounds are different in theory. I don't distinguish them too.

also 저 and 져 sound exactly the same.

There is a very subtle difference and most modern Koreans don't really differentiate those two. ㅐ is supposed to sound a little bit stronger, though.
