Do you know any TV or radio program I could listen to on internet to improve my Punjabi skills?
Is Urdu very similar to Punjabi?
I mean, if I watch TV or movies in Urdu, would it help me with Punjabi or would everything just get mixed up in my mind?

yes there are many shows on internet to help you learn punjabi 
yes urdu is similar to punjabi 
but watching urdu shows will not help that much
