Can we use any of them to express past situations. 1..I didn't know she was coming. [simple past] 2..I hadn't knew she was coming. [past perfect] I know one is simple past and another is past perfect in which situation we can use the second sentence..can we use any one of them if we are talking about past because I always get confused if not so what is the differences between both sentences.
