In Hindi "ज़बरदस्त " is a versatile word.

Eg.   नाटक में कलाकारों का प्रदर्शन ज़बरदस्त था ।(powerful )
        क़िले (fort) की दीवार ज़बरदस्त (strong) थी ।

In Urdu I believe that "zabardast" means "Amazing" "Awesome" "Great" I'm not sure if it's the same in Hindi.
