What is the difference between 銀行はどこですか?and 銀行はどこにありますか? I have a Japanese language book which I learn Japanese vocabulary and grammar. And I notice that both of these mean "Where is the bank?" but, what is the difference between them?

In general, they mean the same. If you use these sentence for "where is the bank?", everyone can understand you. Grammatically, the second one sounds a bit more detailed, like "at/in which place is the bank?", however, everyone will respond you the same whichever sentence you use. I hope this helps you.
