What's the definition of the word Bel Air? I know it's in LA in California, but is it slang for Beverly Hills. If it is so what's the etymology of this word? Thanks for your answers

It's not "slang" for Beverly Hills. It's a separate area. It's right next to Beverly Hills. "Bel Air" means "beautiful air".
