You could also say 'about' for times and amounts, as in about two hours, about twenty dollars. In these cases 'about' would be a little more natural. But when 'mas o menos' is used as the answer to a question, we'd certainly say 'more or less', for example, 'how long will it take? About two hours? ' 'yes, more or less'.
