I am trying to spell a word pronounced similarly to nature.the difference is the first vowel sound which sounds like "a " or sort of.
Something to do with nutrition ?

What sentence did you hear the word in? When you talk about an "a" sound, do you mean /æ/ (the sound in "cat")?
