Does anyone else think we need a "chat" function?
Does anyone else think we should have a possibility for live chat on italki? Sometimes people just want to say "hi" or have a short chat like you can on Facebook and other websites? What do you think,everyone?

Well, we did have one a few years back - plus group chat. However, it was just text chat and didn't have a "pop-out" option (meaning, you lost the chat if you went to a new page).

Perhaps italki points could go towards that if it comes back? I mean, X points to initiate a chat...

Yes i agree.The chat interactions are very important to learn a language.Listening and Reading comprehension.These two parameters are very important.Never,ever,forget it.
