Egyptian Arabic Question: "nifsak ti3amel ey?"
can i say "nifsak ti3amel ey?" to mean "what do you feel like doing?". or i guess more importantly, is this actually said like this in Egypt the way we commonly do in English? Just found the word nifs while looking around EAD and it seems like it would be very useful saying things like "nifsy a3mel video" or "nifsik tishrabi haaga?"
Yes, jay, this is like the exact translation for it in the Egyptian Arabic and it could be said like that :) I'm not Egyptian, yet I'm sure it's right and I hope one of our Egyptian friends here will confirm that for you.

In Most dialects - I guess -people tend to omit some known words from the context. the origin formula of that expression is something like
هل في نفسك رغبة؟ = is there any desire inside you to..
هل no longer used by Arabs - only used in MSA.
only نفسك was left and it is well understood by people who use it.
I dare say they never analyses it this way !.
