Can't remember English words.
I can't remember English words. Although I tried hard to remember them, I still foreget them some hours later. I'm very upset. How to remember those words smoothly?

Try this way. Divide words in categories like food, home, sports, adverbial clauses, etc. I think that learning words from the same category is easier than memorizing them at random.

Consider trying a SRS, or Spaced Repetition System, also Spaced Repetition Software. It is an approach that tests you on meanings, with the words you know best occurring less frequently than those you have trouble remembering. There is a free software program called Anki that employs this system that I use for remembering Italian words.

Jiny this has been discussed on italki many many times.The only way to learn words is to see them in a meaningful context (a book,a movie,a song, a conversation) and to repeat them in your own sentences.Don't try to just learn words in a word list.

Repeat them and understand their meaning. Word cards are also very helpful.
