Do Americans differenciate "partly" and "partialy" in their daily conversation?
I'm scraching on the surface of the difference between these two words.
Please help, and uh,if you don't make such fuss, just let me know so I don't have to dig it : <
The only time I really hear "partly" in daily conversations here in the US is when we are talking about weather. Ex: "Today is going to be partly cloudy"
Otherwise, I always hear partially. Ex: "I'm only partially done with this project."
Hope this helped!
