I love newer rock, and glam rock. Some of my favorites are; Miyavi, Elvis, Bowie, Tokio Hotel, Black Veil Brides, Patti Smith, Jager, etc...If you wander into metal and other things like that, Dir En Grey is good, and so are Meat Loaf (I believe that's the name)  and a quick google search will kick up more.
