What is "humpf!"? An expression of an indignation?

I wouldn't say indignation, it's a bit heavy because it contains anger, whereas, humpf refers to a feeling of great frustration but in a light, cute way.
'Humpf.... do we really need to go work now? I'd love to chill a bit more....'
