Who are the traditional people？ In Chinese textbooks there are some people who are described as being 'traditional', and I have noted that also on web forums when some Chinese people introduce themselves they at times call themselves 'traditional'. I have never understood what it means exactly. People who are described as 'traditional' usually use simplified characters, use mobile phones and watch American films just like people who are not described as being 'traditional'. But all those things would be examples of what I would never describe with the word 'traditional'. If you please could give me a full and clear explanation what does this word exactly describes when talking about people, I would appreciate it. Thank you!
