How could you remember plenty of words and make yourself impressive?

I use Anki http://ankisrs.net/. That's a program based on idea of spaced repetiition. Besides I try to remember whole sentences rather than words. To get even more sustainable result, take this word and create some new sentences with it. I tend to be lazy with it but if the word especially hard to remember do it.
