VON oder DURCH in Passiv? Do I understand correctly, that if we're talking about a person, then VON+Dative is the only option, but when we're talking about a thing/event then both VON+Dative and DURCH+Akkusative are possible? Diese Frage wurde mir noch VON niemandem gestellt. Die Maus wurde VON Gift getötet. Die Maus wurde DURCH Gift getötet. Are all of these sentences correct?

That's sort of right. "Durch" describes the instrument or reason, "von" describes the acting agent. Persons will use mostly "von", but e.g. when they act in official capacity etc., it can also be "durch": Das Urteil wurde durch den Richter bestätigt. All your sentences are correct.
