May I ask u a question,please? What's the difference between trip and travel?

"I will travel to China" (verb) - travel = go on a journey
"I like foreign travel" (noun) - you like many kinds of foreign travel - it is your hobby
"I will take a trip to China" (noun) trip = journey + time in China

Trip is the noun version. Example: I went on a trip to China with my family.
Travel is the verb (action) version. Example: I traveled to China with my family.
