How to understand this phrase? j'ai plus qu'à me cacher dans une ile. Is it right if I translate it like "I only could hide on an island" ?

As Su.Ki said : 'The only thing I can do now is hide on an island', The "plus" mean it's the last thing you can do by now. Tu n'as qu'a le faire seul -> do it on your own Th n'as plus qu'a le faire drip -> you haven't other option, do it on your own

I'd understand it as 'The only thing I can do now is hide on an island', in the sense that hiding on an island is the only option which is left to me now. But I'd be happy to be corrected, if I'm wrong.

J'ai plus qu'a me cacher is in French slang You should say " Je n'ai plus qu'a me cacher. "ou bien " si je pouvais seulement me cacher dans une ile" En effet la probabiite d'aller se cacher dans une ile est tres faible, Il s'agit d'un souhait irrealiste. Il est pratiquement impossible de trouver une ile pour une seule personne. En anglais " If only I could hide on an island " Et surtout n'allez pas sur Jurassic Park !
