I'd like to know the difference between "be" and "stand"
1. I'm ready!
2. I stand ready!

I think both of them convey the same meaning wherever.
Could there be any difference between the two sentences in meaning?

they both mean the same thing, but I've never heard any of my friends say "I stand ready" instead of "I'm ready." I stand ready sounds like someone is in the military or about to go on a mission or something.
