I'm not sure if you expect anybody to answer the question, but the question has a grammar mistake. It should read: "What WOULD you do if you were a president for a day?". Actually, you would also drop the "a" in many contexts, as it would be assumed that you were asking about the president of whatever country you were in. So the sentence would read "What would you do if you were president for a day?".
