1. pay heed -> more common is "pay attention" or "stay focussed". You need to pay attention when driving. You wont hear heed used in common speech, it's an old fashioned word. 2. When the score was 4-1, the game was pretty much over. 3. If you do that, you'll be up shit creek (you'll be screwed, you wont have any hope of recovery) 4. In a little while, I'll be free to help you, but right now, I'm busy. 5. until vs up to. Up to has a number of use cases. 5a. Until we meet again, I will think of you every day. (Until measures an unspecified amount of time to an event in the future.) 5b. It's all up to you now. (you have all the responsibility, there is nothing more I can do) 5c.
