How to translate "inform" in "inform product development" into Chinese?
Such connections can also deeply inform product development.
Last time I saw "inform" in "Economic frameworks to inform decision making", I translate it into "提供信息" （provide information for ）

But I think my translation is weird, how should I translate "inform"?

Here "inform" means "Give an essential or formative principle or quality to".
