What is 못나?
I think I came across this a number of times but the sentence I saw just now is "이런 내가 한심하고 못나 보이겠지만 나는 아직…" If I'm not wrong does it mean "stupid"? Is this a verb or adj and how do you use it?

못나(다)+아+보이다

못나다 (형용사 adjective)
1. 얼굴이 잘나거나 예쁘지 않다. ugly, unattractive
2. 능력이 모자라거나 어리석다.  stupid, foolish

아 is connecting particle 본용언과 보조 용언을 연결하는 데 쓰는 연결 어미.

보이다 means "look"

못나 보이다 means "look stupid/ugly"
