Why does the Japanese language have all these different signs and stuff???? I'm extremely confused over the Japanese signs and what they mean it's so much to remember and I need help!!!!!!

The signs are called kanji which can be memorized in a more efficient manner by learning the radicals in them. Radicals are like kanji inside of a kanji. For example, forest(Mori) has three tree(ki) radicals in it. 森　木
