I like Mojave's answer. I can't confirm either. I'm sure it's idiomatic, and that's a logical train of thought he wrote. But we shall see!

I think 퍼주는 일 is made up of 푸다 + 주다 + -는 일. 푸다 means "to bail out" and when combined with 주다, it means "to bail out for someone", as in doing something "for" that person. And then -는 일 is the usual way to make a verb into a noun to be used in a sentence. Anyway, it's probably an idiom, but I could see twisting "to bail out for someone" into "to go all out", especially with the use of 다. Hopefully, a native can either confirm what I'm saying or explain the actual meaning. But thought I'd try to give you some info that might help. :)
