A pity we can't find the guy who did it.Thank you for correction! The sentence below is on the LDOCE.
And an idea came up with me, "If I change it to subjunctive mood sentence, Do I have to change the verb in the relative pronoun "had p.p."?
I had the question because in the subjunctive mood, you use past tense however you are saying about your wish NOW. Then I was wondering if the subjunctive mood has an affect on the relative pronoun.Let me clarify my understanding:)
So I don't have to change the past tense in the relative pronoun, because it happened actually. Is this right?

I think "I wish we could find the guy who did it" is correct and means the same than "A pity we can't find the guy who did it".
