Please help me find the mistake in the following sentences and then correct it.
1.“Have you got any money?”
“Yes,I've been to the bank yesterday.”
2. “Is John ill?He's lost a lot of weight.”
“Yes,he is rather slender these days,isn't he?"
Thank you very much!My opinion is:
In the first dialogue,“have been to” cannot be connected with “yesterday”.We can say “I've been to the bank”or“I went to the bank yesterday.”
In the second dialogue ,“a lot of ”should be replaced by “too much”,because “weight”is uncountable noun.
I'm not sure my answer is right or not.

Your guess at the first dialogue is correct.
The second dialogue uses the wrong adjective. What's the right one? :)
