Please tell me whether these sentences are right, what are their differences? Kindly explain in Eng. 1. Se compró otro, porque el coche viejo no tenía aire acondicionado. 2. Como el coche viejo no tenía aire acondicionado, se compró otro. 3. Como no tenía diner, no pude comprarme los zapatos. 4. No pude comprarme los zapatods, porque no tenía dinero. Questions, 1. are they all right? 2. If yes, any differences? If no, which sentence and where is it wrong? Must the coma behind otro and zapatods(in the first sentence) be omitted?

Las cuatro frases están perfectas y significan lo mismo pero dicho de formas diferentes. They are all perfect. You can omit the commas after otro and zapatos.

They're correct and their meaning is the same. It's like "because" and "so" in English: I bought the shoes because I could afford them. I could afford the shoes, so I bought them. In one sentence we say the reason why we have done something and in the other we said the consequence. And yes, you should ommit the comma. Regards.
